The Marketing Institute does not undertake research for research’s sake. We focus on research that yields greater efficiencies for the state of Florida and, by example, the nation. We focus on the best approach using proper motivations that serve the greater good.

Many of the projects currently under contracts to the Marketing Institute contain strong service delivery provisions. These service-driven projects provide a laboratory in which Institute staff can formulate a theory and then test that theory in practice.

The Institute works with both private and public organizations and private citizens to examine the cause-and-effect of mobility barriers and consumer choice. For example, in recent years, fuel prices have grown astronomically in the United States. Not only have such price surges affected the movement of goods, it has also affected the mobility of the work force. Coupled with growing concerns over climate change and the contributing effect of inefficient use of transportation resources, the problem becomes increasingly catastrophic.

The Marketing Institute puts the tools and knowledge necessary to address many of these problems into the hands of business and government, knowing that responses are as varied as the needs themselves.
