Preventative Maintenance Planning and Training Program

The Preventative Maintenance Planning and Training (PrMPT) program was established in 2007 as a joint effort between the Florida Department of Transportation and the Marketing Institute at Florida State University. The purpose of the PrMPT program is to provide maintenance technical assistance to Florida’s transportation providers at no cost to the agency. By performing preventive maintenance inspections at timely mileage intervals, an agency can avoid forseeable breakdowns and thereby reduce their number of in-service failures.

Promotional Materials Clearinghouse

The Promotional Materials Clearinghouse was developed as a resource for public transit and TDM marketing professionals, highlighting market research and creative services critical to their success. Through this project, the Institute also provides professional development services to an international audience and provides research and instructional opportunities for the College of Business' faculty and staff.
