Introduction

Thank you for using EzRide Administrator. EzRide Administrator is a user-friendly commuter tracking and transportation program designed by the Marketing Institute at Florida State University's College of Business. The primary function of the program is to provide commuters with valuable information regarding pools. The program matches potential poolers with current poolers or other interested commuters who reside and work within close proximity of one another.

EzRide Administrator, however, does more than simply match commuters. The program has been designed to fit a transportation organization's needs. The information entered into EzRide Administrator can be used to create maps, reports, and statistical information regarding applicants as well as their employers. EzRide Administrator also creates and tracks successful pool formation. This function facilitates the addition and removal of applicants from pools already created. Demographic information about the pool can be stored in the database and accessed by the user. This feature allows your organization to review the status of a pool and instantly view its compatibility with an applicant.

Another important feature of EzRide Administrator is its Emergency Ride Home Program compatibility. As you may know, Emergency Ride Home Programs (referred throughout this document as ERP) are offered as an incentive to potential poolers by many Commuter Assistance Programs. These programs allow poolers to take a free cab ride home from work if some unforeseen problem arises that prevents them from pooling home. As part of the EzRide Administrator program, your organization can track ERP usage. You will be able to store uniquely assigned voucher numbers and other pertinent information.

All of the above mentioned features, as well as all other features in EzRide Administrator, are explained in great detail throughout this guide. The Marketing Institute would like to thank you again for using EzRide Administrator. This guide has been designed to answer questions you may have about using the program. EzRide Administrator was designed with the user in mind and should be easily adapted to your organization's needs.
