The
College of Business at Florida State University is one of a select group
of business programs that are fully accredited by the American Assembly
of Collegiate Schools Of Business. This accreditation includes all undergraduate
and master's programs in business.
3500 students are currently enrolled in the College of Business' undergraduate
programs, and another 250 are enrolled in its graduate programs. The Charles
A. Rovetta Business Building contains about 76,000 net square feet of
classrooms, faculty and staff offices, and support facilities. The building
includes computer laboratories and behavioral laboratory equipment for
classroom teaching and research.
The
College of Business offers management and executive development programs
for a variety of individuals and organizations and a service program that
delivers executive assistance in exchange for financial assistance to
graduate students. Clients include organizations in both the private and
public sector.
The College Of Business has been very successful in acquiring highly
qualified faculty. More than ninety percent of the college faculty have
doctoral degrees- and most of them have been recruited within the last
ten years from the finest universities in the United States. The faculty
is highly involved in scholarly and applied research, yet it has a strong
commitment to teaching, research, community service, and the total student
learning process.
